How to Create Styles for Capture One
Learn How to Create Capture One Styles Quickly & Easily
Creating a style in Capture One software is a great way to save time and keep your editing process consistent. Here's a step-by-step guide on how to create Capture One styles:
Select the photo you want to edit and open it in Capture One. Make all necessary adjustments until you're satisfied with the look of the image.
Go to the "Styles" tab at the top of your workspace, click on the “...” next to “Styles and Settings” and choose “Save User Generated Style” from the Menu.
From the style Menu select all the settings you want to save in your style, but avoid saving any settings that are only relevant for the image you just edited, such as white balance, lens corrections and cropping information. When you're done selecting, press the “Save” button.
In the following dialog enter a style name and choose a folder to save the style to.
After saving, your style should appear in the style tab of your workspace under “User Generated Styles”.
To apply your newly created style in Capture One, click on an image you want to edit, go to “User Generated Styles” in your workspace and click on the style you want to apply. If you want to undo the edit, click on the style you just applied. A “delete” button will appear. By clicking delete, the adjustments of your style will be reverted.
